Inductive Probe
An
accessory to Willtek’s 9102 Handheld Spectrum Analyzer, the 1207
Inductive Probe is a magnetic field probe designed for taking RF
measurements without requiring physical contact to the PCB. The 1207
is ideal for mobile phone service, for performing fast EMC
measurements, and can be used in all R&D applications.
The 1207
is able to pick up signals from 10 MHz up to 6 GHz using the magnetic
field emitted by ASICs or PCBs. With this measurement method, users do
not affect the circuit board, but are still able to measure the
frequency. For signals with low power, a 20 dB amplifier is integrated
in the housing.
