Pick-wire/test for wires measuring by insulator piercing

This "pick-wire / test" accessory, is used on cables where ends cannot be reached. For instance : automotive wires molded at each end.

Working principle of the pick wire / test :
example with a simple circuit made of a voltmeter and U voltage generator.

a. Pick wire / test is represented by a tip attached to + pole of the voltmeter. A cable insulated by a red sheath is linked to - pole of the generator.
b. The user actuates pick wire / test and tip begins to perforate the cable sheath.
c. Tip perforated sheath of cable to test. Contact is set. User can read the voltage between - pole and the inner conductor of the cable.

Attention : although this product can be connected to all our safety leads, piercing cables insulation limits its use at 30 V~ / 60 VDirect Current.

and may cause an insulation loss.
