The satellite IF and UHF simulator RP-050 is a radio frequency pilot generator that permits to test the response of the entire television system prior to having the antennas or the Headend installed. It can be used for the certification of TV wires, test of new satellite installations, headend fault locator, and many other.
L band test pilots: 1050/1575/2100 MHz
UHF test pilot: 537.5 MHz

The RP-050 is a low cost signal generator designed specifically to test IF satellite distribution systems. It becomes specially useful in those cases where the installation needs to be tested before any real signal is available.

It generates 4 frequencys, three of them in the satellite IF band and one in the IHF. The frequencies are precisely 1050 MHz / 1575 MHz / 2100 MHz. Two output levels are available: 90 dBµV in “LOW” mode and “105 dBµV in “HI” mode.

It can also detect 13 / 18 V and the 22 kHz signal.

The generator can be supplied through the RF output or from an external DC source.
